Loving the life I owned

As usual, we had a gathering last night. But this time is at our place. My hair stylist, Agnes was here too, the 6 of us were having dinner, courtesy of Lina and Redza. I let them have the kitchen since I was busy with my hair. Anyways, I am so glad that I gave up almost all my drawings to my friends. The drawings were from my college days. My projects before. I showed them my port folio, amd it seems like I've caught somebody's interest. Well what can I say, I do need an investors. Not just any investor, the active one. It is very sweet of my friends though, because they wanted me to put my signature on the drawings. (so that they can put up for auction when Nisa gets famous) It was hillarious though, ahhah.. how adorable.

As a full fashion designer to be, I need a lot of training in every aspect. Especially business. It is very important for me, as I am already planning to start my own business whenever I feel like going back for good. And I'm talking about big money. Of course, it's going to be huge. I want to make use of my knowledge, everything that I've learned here. I have learned about people, in general. In my world;

Rule #1: When nobody knows your name.. you're nobody.
How to Solve: Be more social, get to know important people.

Rule #2: If you are the quiet type, you're going to spend most of your time being pushed-over.
How to Solve: Be energetic, it shows that you got what it takes to be your own boss.

Rule #3: If you don't have money, you can't talk. At all.
How to Solve: Be smart. Recognize your own ability and talent, know your financial state, then you can start making money.

Well, what can I say, it's the Fashion World. It's either you sink or swim. Some people do fashion because of passion.. some for fame.. some..they are just really good at it and can't see any other job they can do.. As for me.. well, it is like my everyday life. I feel like I'm sleeping in the Vogue magazine.. sigh.. Speaking of Vogue, there will be a shooting for an Italian Vogue in January, and I have to make a Hat, that is inspired by a cat that melts on top of a girls head... sounds weird but, hey, what Vogue wants, Vogue gets it. So, I am extra extra excited to do the piece. Imagine this, Nisa Mazbar's head piece is in Italian Vogue. Who could have thought that my work can go this far? Even I've never thought as such.

I personally, had a BLAST during the weekends. As usual, the 5 of us, always have the usual gathering. This time is at Marina's house. We had our sushi night again, only this time, I get the chance to work on my sushi skills. Well, actually, this is my first successful attempt of making sushi. yay! God, they are so yummy!! I love myself! (err..) yeah..

It was so much fun, and even more fun when Bai and Zaim decided to stay with us the night itself. Me and Bai were dead asleep for sure, because I couldn't even hear the boys were playing the video games. The next day, the 5 of us spent most of the time in the apartment, the boys with their video games, and the girls with thier hair dresser..yup, my hair dresser came to our apartment.. We had to dine out, since it was kind of too late to cook, and all of us were starving. Plus, it was Sunday.. so, we had to go to KFC!!
